Otto Mears formed the Silverton Railroad (1887) and the Rio Grande Southern (1890). Fascinating booklet describing the railroad passes that Otto Mears designed for the Silverton Railroad and the Rio Grande Southern. Made of buckskin, silver and gold, these were given to special friends between 1889 and 1897. The book contains a list of the recipients of the passes, when and what number. Illustrated with black and white photos. The author is the great, great grandson of Santa Fe president William Barstow Strong. 5.5”x8.5” softcover, 35 pages
